Intelligence and Security Informatics
The course provides both practical and theoretical knowledge of how information technology can be used for intelligence analysis and security-related applications.

The course includes:
- Technology and method for analysis of data from the Internet
- Text analysis: how to generate structured information from unstructured text
- Author recognition and profiling
- Social network analysis (SNA)
- Psychology and psychometry
- Influence and deception
- Violent extremism and the internet
- Ethical aspects
Teaching format
Lectures and seminars.
Assessment
The course is examined through written exam and assignments.
