The application deadlines stated in this page are the ordinary. A specific deadline can be somewhat different (usually one or a few days later if the ordinary closing day occurs during a weekend); note the time details specified on the application site!
Application for Master's Programme
The number of students admitted to each of our programmes is limited and admission is granted on a competitive basis. Candidates will be selected by an admission committee.

Applicants who are admitted to the Stockholm University Department of Human Geography masters programme’s must always show the original documents at arrival to the University.
Application for PhD studies
The application to post-graduate studies for a licentiate degree and/or a doctoral degree following special procedures, and each position are advertised on this site. The Department of Human Geography fixed dates for applications are June 1 (main) and January 15 (extra). If there is funding available the Department will announce the positions some time before these dates.
