All PhD students are automatically a member of the PhD Council. The PhD Council is a forum for all issues on the situation of the PhD students, whether it deals with research, teaching, courses or social activities. Members can bring up questions, express opinions or make recommendations which are then taken to the Department Board by two PhD representatives.

Active participation in the PhD Council is a way to affect your working conditions, both at the department and at the university as a whole. The PhD council is also a social nexus and a good source of information on what´s happening in the department and elsewhere. Elections are held for once a year for the active positions. If you have a question, don´t hesitate to ask us!
