Docent i sociologi, forskare och ställföreträdande föreståndare vid Institutet för social forskning (SOFI). Mitt övergripande forksningsområde är jämförande välfärdsforskning.

Min pågående forskning handlar om social klass, välfärdspolitik och försörjningsstöd, människors levnadsförhållanden, uppfattningar och åsikter, ekonomisk ojämlikhet, klimatomställning, sociala nätverk, och arbetsliv.

Mycket av min forskning är länderjämförande, med fokus på hur och varför människors levnadsvillkor, uppfattningar och åsikter skiljer sig åt mellan länder och institutionella kontexter. 

Jag är involverad i International Social Survey Programme (ISSP).
