As of 2026, a teaching and laboratory assistant at the undergraduate courses KZ4019 (Chemical Bonding ) and KZ4020 (Physical Chemistry: Quantum Mechanics and Spectroscopy ).

My PhD project aims to improve a microscopy technique used to determine how atoms are arranged inside materials. By sending electrons through very small samples and analyzing the patterns they form after interacting with the material, we can reveal its atomic structure. This type of knowledge is important for understanding and designing new materials with specific properties.

However, electrons interact strongly with matter, which can make the patterns difficult to interpret and sometimes misleading. In my research, I develop computer based methods to identify which parts of the data are reliable and which are not, allowing us to obtain more accurate and trustworthy atomic structures.
