Christian Joel Rossipal Postdoktor

Mina huvudsakliga intressen rör filmarkivfrågor och kulturarv (titeln på min avhandling är Archives of Displacement: The Making and Unmaking of Migrant Media Collections in Sweden, c.1970-2020) och jag har bland annat bidragit med ett kapitel till Routledge Key Issues in Cultural Heritage. Andra forskningsintressen inkluderar politisk dokumentärfilm, mediearkeologi och Production Studies.

Det projekt jag arbetar med som postdoktor på IMS (SU) rör just arkivfrågor och produktion: “Archiving Audiovisual Process: Barnförbjudet, Marie-Louise Ekman, and Filmmaking as Cultural Heritage” är del av ett större arkivprojekt där filmiska processer dokumenteras och i vilket nya metoder och ett teoretiskt ramverk för sådan arkivering tas fram. Det långsiktiga målet är att skapa sätt för konstnärliga processer att bli en integrerad del av det audiovisuella kulturarvet.
