Om mig
Researcher in the low energy interface of gravity and quantum mechanics, developing novel methods for making traditionally abstract theoretical physics experimentally relevant.
I joined Magdalena Zych's group in 2023 after completing the Part III of the Mathematical Tripos in Cambridge, as well as undergraduate studies at the University of Queensland.

My first line of recent research encompasses single graviton detection - we developed novel techniques for implementing a gravitational version of the photo-electric effect by modifying existing gravitational wave detectors with read-out in particle number basis.
My second line of recent research encompasses Casimir Physics and Cavity QED.

In this work, we demonstrated how modifying phononic gravitational wave detectors with energy basis read-out will enable a realistic experiment corresponding to a single graviton exchange process (a gravitational version of the photo-electric effect).

In this work, we developed a theoretical framework for gravitational wave detectors undergoing continuous measurement while drive by quantised gravitational radiation. It clarifies that graviton absorption processes can also be witnessed by future detector modifications to the LIGO/VIRGO/Kagra interferometers.

In this work, we model multi-mode resonant mass detectors being applied for transducing a single graviton signal to a much smaller end mass, as well as computed the response and possibility to measure untested kilo-hertz post-merger signals of gravitational waves.

Here we provide a pedagogical outline for how all core features of the photo-electric effect from electromagnetism carry over to gravitational wave detectors with energy read-out, mirroring Lamb and Scully's paper for photons.
In this work, we develop a theoretical framework for witnessing the dynamical Casimir effect with highly non-perturbative boundary condition changes that effectively split a photonic cavity into two.
