Om mig

My research interests centre on the social and political consequences of spatial inequality, understood as the unequal division of opportunities and risks between different localities within a country. I explore how outcomes and beliefs - the jobs and wages we obtain, the things we tend to think or believe, and how we vote, for example - are shaped by the opportunities and the people around us.

I hold a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the European University Institute. Prior to commencing my PhD, I worked in education, employment and skills policy in the United Kingdom.

I'm now a Lecturer in Quantitative Social Research in the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Leeds and an affiliated researcher in the Level of Living (LNU) group at SOFI.
