Om mig

My research focuses on the future role of forest-based materials a sustainable and circular society.

I have a background in polymer science, and I defended my PhD thesis 'Thermodynamic Toolkit for Chemical Recycling to Monomer' at KTH in 2023. After spending years on studying circularity on a molecular level, I now study circularity more holistically, with focus on forest-based materials. In my research, I combine sustainability science, regulatory science and materials chemistry with social science methodologies. Through this interdisciplinary approach, my research aims to understand the role a forest-based bioeconomy can play in the development towards a sustainable society.

I am currently working as a postdoc within Stockholm University Centre for Circular and Sustainable Systems (SUCCeSS). Starting from September 2025, I will lead the MISTRA funded project 'Forest-based materials: How to transform the bioeconomy to beat the planetary crisis'.
