Currently, I am a researcher in the Department of Limnology at the Evolutionary Biology Centre, Uppsala University, while maintaining strong ties as a Visiting Researcher at the Stockholm University Baltic Sea Centre.

My research focuses on the health and complex interactions within aquatic systems, exploring these environments from diverse perspectives to understand the core drivers of environmental change. This work is built around four core pillars: (1) mapping greenhouse gas emissions, (2) analysing nutrient and oxygen turnover, (3) investigating trace metal cycling, and (4) uncovering how microbial communities transform sediment biogeochemistry.
