Om mig
I am a paleoclimatologist who applies tools from geochemistry and sedimentology to reconstruct past climate change, with a particular focus on atmospheric processes, on timescales of the last hundreds to hundreds of thousands of years using peat and lake sediment sequences.
I am currently the Director of PhD Studies at the Department of Geological Sciences and the leader of NORDQUA.
I have an interest in gender issues in science and you can read some of my pieces on this here: https://anglejournal.com/article/2018-12-outnumbered-and-surrounded-women-working-in-male-dominated-research-fields-women-in-science-000128/.
If you want to see what my research looks like you can have peak from SVTs De första svenskarna, Part 1 (around 30 minutes of play: https://www.svtplay.se/de-forsta-svenskarna) and Vetenskapens Värld: Vetenskapen Bakom Historien om Sverige (around 32-36 minutes of play: https://www.svtplay.se/video/8opYQy5/vetenskapen-bakom-historien-om-sverige.
I am course responsible for Sedimentary Systems (BSc, 7.5 hp), Paleoclimatology (MSc, 7.5 hp) and Wetlands (Overview course, 7.5 hp). I also teach on Tellus III (BSc, 7.5 hp).
