PhD Econ. from Stockholm Business School (2011).

Ragnar Lund is head of the Program of Cultural Management Studies (Projektledarutbildningen) at the department of History since 2011. 

The course includes economic, legal and cultural perspectives on project management in the cultural and creative industries. It combines theory with real project assignments and includes international field trips.

In 2020 also initiated and designed a new "challenge driven" course in Cultural Management and Urban Development. The course was planned with support from strategic grants from Stockholm University and Vinnova.

Challenge Driven Course in Cultural Management and Urban

Forskning

In 2012, Ragnar was awarded the Jan Wallander Scholarship, a 3-year full time post-doc scholarship given for outstanding thesis in the economic disciplines. Post doc. at KTH (ABE - CEFIN) including a research collaboration and research visits at Harvard Business School with publications on corporate partnerships in sports and culture.

Ragnar has acted as a reviewer for journals: JBR, JSQM, SS, JSM, AM and conference proceedings (EURAM, AMA, AMS)

In parallell to his research, Ragnar has organized conferences and workshops and acted as consultant in various projects in the area of culture and urban development. Has for instance arranged a knowledge forum and international conference on creative area management and cultural perspectives on sustainable urban development at KTH with partners from the public and private sectors.
