Sara Eriksson Doktorand

I'm a PhD candidate in human-computer interaction, in the Stockholm Technology and Interaction Research (STIR) group at DSV, Stockholm University. In my research, I ask how bodies and technological artifacts are implicated in social interaction and shared cognition. My current project looks at how people do dancing online together in video-mediated settings. I'm also involved in the Digital Futures project Advanced Adaptive Intelligent Systems, in which we explore novel possabiltites for embodied interaction with gaze enabled voice assistants and robots.

My previous research resides in the intersection of HCI and performance arts, studying the creative process of designing and choreographing drones for the opera stage. Before joining STIR, I worked as a researcher in the Interaction Design Research team at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, as part of the projects Engineering the Interconnected Society and De-Pilot. I hold a MSc in Human-Computer Interaction with a double degree from Université Paris-Saclay and KTH.
