Sofiya-Yaryna Voytiv Vikarierande lektor

I hold a PhD in sociology from Stockholm University (2020) where I am currently teaching. In addition, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University and Institute for Futures Studies. Prior to this I did a postdoc at Tampere Peace Research Institute in Finland.

My research deals with two larger themes: elites’ formation in higher education in Sweden with a specific focus on gender and social networks, and the Russian-Ukrainian war and its effects on Ukrainian and Russian diasporas, refugees and migrants in Sweden. I use qualitative and social network analysis methods in my research.
