Won't let you log in?
The most common reason for this is that your Swedish "personal number" (similar to national insurance number or tax registration number) is not registered in SUKAT. To register your personal number in the system please contact: Baltzar Stevensson
Sometimes it is also due to type of employment. Please contact HR administrators, for more information on your type of employment.
Check list for expense allowances and travel bills
- Register all information in Primula.
- Tape original receipts on paper (A4).
- Write in Swedish or English what the receipts concern - when they are in other languages. If they concern a trip - write From (place) - To (place).
- Submit a separate itinerary - when visiting several places.
- Include conference program or write purpose of travel.
- Scan everything and upload in Primula at Note/Att.
- Print the form (expense allowance, travel bill).
- Submit (form + all receipts) in paper to supervisor or appointed person to approve by her/his signature on the form or send by e-mail. In that case - enclose approval.

Travel rules and booking
To reduce the department’s carbon footprint, the department board has approved a supplement to the SU travel policy, aligning with SU's goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2040. The department will fully cover train, boat, or bus travel for business trips over 700 km within Europe and Sweden. The department will not cover additional hotel costs due to longer travel times, but booking a sleeper car is permitted.
Follow these steps to ensure coverage:
- Book tickets via our authorised travel agency and request an invoice for train, bus, or boat travel.
- Travel must be in 2nd class; only standard rail tickets are covered, not interrail and seat reservations.
- Request a unique booking reference from the department’s travel booking administrator.
- All trips must comply with SU’s travel policy, which prioritises digital meetings and cost-effectiveness where possible.
Guest travel
To streamline guest travel bookings, complete the Guest travel document and send it to the department’s travel booker for assistance with arranging guest travel.
