Aktuella forskningsprojekt

Pågående forskningsprojekt finansierade av Vetenskapsrådet:
1. Sámi mánná jurddavázzin – Samiska barn som tankevandrare: Berättande och kritiska filosofiska undersökningar i urfolks tidiga barndomspedagogik. Vetenskaplig ledare: Viktor Johansson. Läs om projektet
2. Samskapad sex- och samlevnadsundervisning: en praktiknära studie av ett tvärvetenskapligt kunskapsområde i svensk grundskola.

Anki Bengtsson bedriver tillsammans med Larissa Mickwitz forskningsprojektet Att bli ”svensk lärare” - En studie av Snabbspåret för nyanlända med lärarutbildning (2017-2019), som är finansierat av Institutet för arbetsmarknads- och utbildningspolitisk utvärdering (IFAU).
Educating Humanity. Rethinking ethical-political education (Bildung). The overall aim of these collaborative and explorative workshops between Oslo University, Stockholm University, University of Oulu, Aarhus University, is to identify, conceptualize and meet the most pressing issues regarding ethical-political education (Bildung) in and for today’s societies in the Nordic countries. http://www.uv.uio.no/iped/english/research/projects/educating-humanity/
Viktor Johansson och Claudia Schumann (Eds.) arbetar med ett temanummer i Educational Philosophy and Theory om “Bildung, Self-Cultivation, and the Challenge of Democracy: Ralph Waldo Emerson as a Philosopher of Education”.
Corrado Matta arbetar med ett projekt om de metodologiska villkor för att integrera olika typer av evidens i syfte med att utvärdera utbildningspolicy. Han arbetar med ett ytterligare projekt om “Philosophy of Educational Neuroscience”.
Klas Roth och Paul Formosa (Eds.) arbetar med ett temanummer i Educational Philosophy and Theory om ondska och utbildning med ledande internationella forskare inom området om Immanuel Kant, ondska och utbildning.
Claudia Schumann och Marie Hållander (Eds.) samt Rebecca Adami arbetar med ett temanummer i Studier i Pædagogisk Filosofi om ”The Politics of Gender in Education: Contemporary philosophical perspectives”.
Elias Schwieler arbetar med ett projekt om kritiskt tänkande finansierat av Vetenskapsrådet och ett Wallenberg-projekt om bildning och streaming media.
Robert Thorp arbetar med att redigera en internationell publikation om erfarenheter av kalla kriget och dess plats i undervisningen tillsammans med Barbara Christophe (Georg-Eckert-Institut, Tyskland) och Peter Gautschi (Pädagogische Hochshule Luzern) som kommer att ges ut på Palgrave under 2018.
Robert Thorp arbetar med ett internationellt projekt (ett samarbete mellan The University of Newcastle, Australien, McGill University, Kanada, och Victorian University of Wellington, Nya Zeeland) om historielärarstudenters förhållanden till nationell historia.
