Welcome Fair and social activities

Time: 12.00 – 16.00

Location: Frescati campus

Join our Welcome Fair, where you will get to meet and interact with the different units of Stockholm University. Throughout the day and afternoon, you will also be able to participate in various social activities. Many take place outside, so dress according to the weather. No registration needed.

 

The programme

12:00-16:00 Welcome Fair and social activities

Welcome Fair with fika

Meet the representatives of the different units of the university, such as IT-services, the Library, the Student Union, and many more. There will be coffee and sweets!

Speed friending

Mingle and get to know other new students, both national and international, in a fun way. You might even bump in to some of your future classmates!

Sports activities with SSIF

Join SSIF, Stockholm Students’ Sports Club, inside Aula Magna for information and competitions - and head outside to the grass field for volleyball, spikeball, the classic Swedish game kubb, and more fun activities!

14:00-14:45 How to succeed with your studies - Mini lectures for new students

These lectures will be sign language interpreted.

The University Library - Your favourite study buddy

Study, borrow, ask. The University Library gives a short introduction on how to use it efficiently during your studies.

16:00-late Student pubs

At the end of the day, you can visit the various student pubs around campus.
