About me

I'm a municipality doctoral student since 2018. My profesional background is as a teacher, special educator and also assistant principal in elementary school since 2000.  Today I work in Täby municipality as a develompental leader with assignments as a municipal doctoral student in the department of school develompent and support.

In my first study I explore 30 educators, working in compulsory school in Sweden, descriptions of diveristy among students. i'm curious of what descriptions will contain when I as a reseracher choose not to define the concpet of diversity to the participants. Duting fall of 2019 I have interviewed principals, teachers, special teachers and special educators from 24 elementery schools and one mother tongue unit resident from 10 different municipalities in Sweden. I apply qualitative content analysis to the manifest content of transcripts , using an inductive approach.
