BIOGRAPHY
Brian D. Denman has lived and worked in three continents (North America; Australia; and Northern Europe), spanning over three decades as a comparative and international scholar. His specialty is in international higher education, internationalisation, and personalised learning assessments.
His primary field of research and teaching is in the field of comparative and international education, which includes higher education teaching and learning, qualitative and quantitative research designs, and education systems and policy analysis.
In recent years, Denman was awarded a Wenner-Gren Professorship at Stockholm University (2021-23), CIES Innovative Curriculum Design (2021) and University Accreditation Auditor (2017). He currently serves as Secretary-General of GlobalCIE, a non-profit organisation that provides online forums of notable comparative educators worldwide.
To date, he has supervised over 21 Postdoc, PhD, EdD, ProfDoc, and master degree students, continues to remain research active in CIES, NOCIES, and OCIES, and consults widely.

I have also conferred over 18 higher degree students throughout my academic career. In addition, I have examined 8 PhD dissertations and have participated in a number of PhD disputations overseas (China, Japan, New Zealand, Sweden).
