About me

As of autumn 2023, I’m a PhD student in Sociology at the Department of Sociology, Stockholm University. I also work within the Horizon Europe-funded rEUsilience project at the Swedish Institute for Social Research.

With a keen interest in how policies and practices intertwine with people’s opportunities and life situations, I find my roles very rewarding. My educational background is diverse, comprising a master’s degree in sociology from Uppsala University, and undergraduate degrees in sociology and psychology from the University of Glasgow, and law from the University of Edinburgh.

My PhD project investigates how single parent families in Sweden combine income and care and how such practices relate to what resources and support are (not) available to them.
