Learning Analytics and AI for Education Group

The Learning Analytics and AI for Education Group does research on how data-driven methods (learning analytics) can be used to understand and strengthen education. We also study the application of AI technology in educational contexts.

About me

Yongchao Wu currently works as a PhD student at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences, Stockholm University.

Yongchao does research in AI for education. Specifically, Yongchao investigates how modern Natual Language Processing(NLP) could be applied in the education context and can enhance teachers' and students' teaching and learning.

Yongchao's current projects involve topics of AI-enhanced collaborative learning, AI-based recommendations and feedback for essay writing and grading, as well as natural language generation for teaching and learning materials.

Yongchao's works have been published in AIED, EC-TEL, ICALT and MIS4TEL.
