Research group Learning Analytics and AI for Education Group
The Learning Analytics and AI for Education Group does research on how data-driven methods (learning analytics) can be used to understand and strengthen education. We also study the application of AI technology in educational contexts.

The Learning analytics and AI for Education Group aims to increase knowledge and understanding of ways in which learning analytics (LA) and artificial intelligence (AI) can support and enhance education.
We aim to connect researchers and other stakeholders that share a common interest in tracing learning, understanding learning, and improving learning with the support of learning analytics and AI. The group broadly covers advances in learning analytics and AI for education, including but not limited to the following topics: tools and methodologies for education, applications for education in real-world settings, and theoretical perspectives on for education.
The group is interdisciplinary and consists of a number of senior researchers and PhD students, interested in the use of technology in formal and informal learning contexts.
