Our major research interest centers around finding efficient and sustainable ways to utilize carbon dioxide as a C1 feedstock, Nitrogen reduction, green hydrogen production. We are also interested in projects related to water purification via chemical & electrochemical PFAS remediation.
Group description
We use electrochemical approach for (i) capturing and generating value out of waste CO2- through generating liquid products, such as e-MeOH, e-HCOOH; (ii) capturing and reducing inert N2 to NH3; (iii) water electrolysis to produce green-H2; (iv) PFAS degradation
From electrocatalysts design & synthesis to electrochemical testing and molecular electrode fabrication and investigate prolonged electrocatalysis.
