Group AML Karlson studies Food web and Ecosystem ecology, Ecotoxicology and Stress ecology, Environmental monitoring and Stable isotope techniques.

Agnes Karlsson is also project manager of the The Marine ecology laboratory Phytal (MEL-Fytal). They are specialists in plants in the in the phytal zone; algae and associated animals, mainly hard bottoms with bladder wrack and other algae. Read more about the MEL-Fytal grop in Swedish here.

Can cyanobacterial blooms make Baltic Sea fish less toxic?

This project will investigate the contribution of cyanobacterial blooms to fish production and contaminant bioaccumulation in the Baltic Sea.

FORCE – Facilitating Ocean Recovery in a Changing climatE
