Interactions between marine biodiversity, environmental conditions (including climate) and society.
Our research deals broadly with understanding the relationships between environmental conditions, properties of communities (including their composition and biodiversity) and ecosystem processes (including ecosystem services). Most of the projects we do bridge fundamental and applied questions in community and ecosystem ecology, and uses coastal benthic ecosystems (seagrass beds, coral reefs, mussel beds, etc.) as a model.
