Climate change impacts in regards to ecosystem response as well as on humans natural resource management and governance.

I do transdisciplinary work in the interface between nature and society mostly using theoretical modelling. In ecology I have contributed in developing a trait-driver perspective that facilitates understanding the impact of changing environmental drivers on species communities. Wetlands and phytobenthos are my primary field applications but my modelling is generally applicable for both plant communities and food webs. I also work on human behaviour in relation to resource management and generation of understanding.
