Research project Effects of extreme drought on forest understory plants
In this study, we are looking at how extreme weather events (in particular droughts) affect forest biodiversity.
The project includes questions such as:
- How did the drought of 2018 affect understory biodiversity?
- How do extreme events and forest fragmentation interact?
- How can we buffer the effects of extreme drought on forest biodiversity?
- We try to answer these questions with both observational and experimental studies.
