Research project ICBT for adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and sleep problems

The objective of this study is to investigate the efficacy of the Internet-delivered cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia (iCBT-I) in adolescents with ASD and sleep problems.

Adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and insomnia, aged 13-17 years, will be recruited to the study. The recruitment will be through media advertisement and clinical centers. Participants will be randomly assigned either to 8 weeks of iCBT-I with therapist support or to internet-based psychoeducation program.

The trial is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov (NCT03624400).
