Research project Modelling in developmental education
The project aims to investigate the relationship between the didactic structure of instruction and the learning facilitated for students.

Through a microanalysis of biology instruction within the DE-program, the character of interaction between the teacher and the students during the process of modelling is explored.
Project description
The purpose of the interaction is to enable students to discern the general principles and initiate the formation of a subject-specific theoretical concept. Questions being investigated include: How are students' schemes utilized in the modelling process? What is the nature and function of the teacher's questions and actions in the modelling process?
