Research project Talking talent: Narratives of youth sport selection
The interest in identifying, selecting and developing young talent in sports seems to be endless. At the same time as certain talents are selected for special initiatives, the sports movement must make it possible for all children and young people to participate in sports.
This potential dilemma must be addressed and have consequences for social practice. In this summary dissertation, interest is directed towards the final selection for the youth or district teams in football, floorball and hockey.
