Research subject Italian Linguistics
Italian linguistics is concerned with the linguistic structures of contemporary Italian. Moreover, it studies the use of contemporary Italian in literary and non-literary texts.
Italian linguistics includes studies in phonetics, morfology, syntax, the lexicon, textual analysis, rhetoric and varieties of Italian from a synchronic point of view. Moreover, it studies the structure and use of Italian dialects. The subject includes also research on teaching of Italian as a first language.
