Middle Eastern and North African Studies II
The course contains the second semester in Middle Eastern and North African studies.
In this course, the student will study minorities in the Middle East and migration in and from the Middle East. The course also covers media studies and the region's media landscape, as well as gender and feminism in the Middle East. Within in the course students will also get to know the literature of the Middle East.

The course contains four modules.

Teaching format
The teaching consists of lectures and seminars. Attendance at all classes is mandatory.
Assessment
The course is examined through written assignments.
The module Minorities and Migration, 7.5 credits is examined through a group presentation, an essay, and an written exam.
The principles for the examinations are stated in the grading criteria.
