Finnish, Linguistics Theory and Method
The aim of the course is to provide you with thorough knowledge about modern linguistic theory and research methodology, as well as about the most important research results within Fennistics.
The course is an obligatory part of the Master’s Programme in Language Science with a Specialisation in Finnish Linguistics. It can also be a stand-alone course or part of the Master’s Programme in Literature with a Specialization in Finnish Literature.

Teaching format
Instruction is in the form of lectures and seminars. The language of instruction is Finnish.

Assessment
The course is examined on the basis of a take-home examination.
