Finnish, Phonology and Morphology
The course provides advanced knowledge of Finnish phonology and morphology. The course discusses modern theories and models within the field of phonology and morphology and their application on features in Finnish.
The course is an obligatory part of the Master’s Programme in Language Science with a Specialisation in Finnish Linguistics. It can also be a stand-alone course or part of the Master’s Programme in Literature with a Specialization in Finnish Literature.

Teaching format
Instruction is in the form of lectures and seminars, or reading and supervision. The language of instruction is Finnish.

Assessment
The course is examined on the basis of a take-home examination.
