Ecofeminist Philosophy
The course presents ecofeminist philosophy and theory, taking its point of departure in both classical ecofeminist texts and contemporary discussions.
It addresses for instance conceptualizations of subjectivity, embodiment and situatedness in relation nature and environment, with specific focus on questions of the role and impact of different power dimensions in such conceptualizations and relations. The course combines a primary focus on philosophical texts with contemporary expressions of culture, society and politics.

Course structure
The course consists of one module, Ecofeminist Philosophy (7,5 credits).
Teaching format
Instruction is given in the form of seminars that can include elements of lecture.
Attendance at the seminars is compulsory.
Assessment
The course is examined on the basis of both written and oral examination.
