Master’s Programme in Literature with a Specialization in Russian Literature
“Russian Literature” is one of thirteen specializations within the Master’s Programme in Literature at the Faculty of the Humanities, and it is offered by the Department of Slavic and Baltic Studies, Finnish, Dutch and German.

Semester 1
- Introduction to Literary Interpretation, 7,5 credits (main field of study: Literature)
- Scientific Methods and Research Ethics, 7,5 credits (main field of study: Philosophy)
- Narrative Theory, 7,5 credits (main field of study: Literature)
- Russian Poetry, Close Reading, 7,5 credits (main field of study: Slavic Languages)
Semester 2
Russian Fiction and Non-Fiction, 7,5 credits (main field of study: Slavic Languages)
Optional courses worth a total of 22,5 credits (of which 15 credits must be in the main field of study: Slavic Languages)Year 2

How to apply
Prerequisites and special admittance requirements
Degree of Bachelor or equivalent in the relevant main field of study and English proficiency equivalent to English 6 in Swedish upper secondary school.
