Fashion and intellectual property law
Our summer course Fashion and intellectual property law focuses on the legal issues facing the fashion industry, and analyses the interplay between legal, economic, cultural and policy aspects of fashion.
Fashion and intellectual property law is given as an elective course within the framework of the summer programme at the Department of Law, Stockholm University. Read more about the rogramme on the following page:
After the course, students are expected to be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of principles and governance mechanisms for IP issues as applied to the fashion sector.

Syllabus - Fashion and intellectual property law
Teaching format
Instruction comprises 2 weeks of full-time studies and consists of lectures and seminars. During these sessions, students will critically discuss course materials and/or answer current problematic situations within the subject.
Assessment
Examination is conducted through active participation at all teaching and a take-home assignment. Active attendance is mandatory at all teaching.
