Work Experience in Urban and Regional Planning
Purpose and learning objectives
The aim of the course is to give the student an insight into the working life for urban and regional planners in order to make him/her employable.
Content and teaching methods
The student will reflect for one thing on the industry (s)he is being educated for and in what way his/her own education answers to the competences required at the practice work-place, for another the opportunities and limitations present at the practice work-place and the choices and prioritizations made. Furthermore the student will reflect on the relations between the work-place and the wider society. The student will keep a journal of his/her time at the practice work-place.

Schedule
The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course. -
