Chinese IV
The course covers fourth-semester studies in modern standard Chinese (putonghua) at undergraduate level.
The course further develops the knowledge of China, Taiwan and Hong Kong by problematizing modern society, collective memory, identity and the Chinese vision of the world.

Course structure
The course consists of four modules that deal with language proficiency and China studies.
Modules
Modern Chinese IV a, 7.5 credits
Modern Chinese IV b, 8.0 credits
Practical Language Ability IV, 4.5 credits
China Studies IV, 10 creditsTeaching format
The teaching is given in the form of lectures, seminars and language exercises individually and in groups.
