Methodology for Studies in Child Language Acquisition
This is a course in linguistics that presents common methods within the research field of child language development.
This course provides an overview of available methods for the study of children’s linguistic development. Selected methods are further explored in hands-on sessions. Both hi-tech and less elaborate methods are covered and their pros and cons are discussed, as are the ethical considerations arising from each method.

Teaching format
Instruction is given in the form of lectures, group discussions and presentations.
Assessment
The course is examined on the basis of written reports an oral presentation.
