Introduction to Information Security
This is an introductory course that provides you with an overview of key topics in cyber security, allowing for potential deeper study of each of the current topics.
The course presents the basic terminology and provides hands-on experience with entry-level concepts for each subject.
The topics are:
• cryptography,
• cybersecurity ecosystem,
• operating system security,
• software security and
• privacy.
Furthermore, a project, which is carried out in a group, will require you to apply the concepts covered during the lectures.

Teaching format
The teaching activities consist of lectures and laboratories.

- project work.

The schedule will be available no later than one month before the start of the course. We do not recommend print-outs as changes can occur. At the start of the course, your department will advise where you can find your schedule during the course. -
