The student participates in the school’s operations and organization as well as contributing to the school’s operations at a relevant stage. The course focuses on planning and leading teaching. In the course the student integrates theory and practice through experience and systematic reflection. The course content is formed by the expected learning outcomes and the operations in the school.

Eligibility

To be accepted to this course, passing grades on at least 15 higher education credits within the Bridging Teacher Education Programme are required, including VFU I, 7.5 higher education credits, and the course module Subject-Specific Pedagogy, Curriculum Theory, Grading and Assessment A, 7.5 higher education credits, in the course School in Society, One and Two Languages, 22.5 higher education credits, or the course School in Society, One Language and Humanities or Civics, 22.5 higher education credits. Since the course is given in collaboration with municipal and independent schools, all entry requirements have to be met at least four weeks before the course starts.
