My University is the portal for Stockholm University IT services. Software available for students include ArcGIS, Office 365, SAS, SPSS and Zoom. The online learning platform used in a Department of Human Geography course is either Athena or Mondo.
On campus there are rooms with computers for word processing etc. in addition to the departments more specialized computer labs. Computers for emailing and word processing are available on campus in the Frescati Library (main library), Lantis and Södra huset (the South block).
The wireless network is accessible virtually on the entire campus. Eduroam hotspots provides access to wireless connectivity on campus and in some places outside, mainly at other universities but also in locations like the City of Stockholm libraries, the Stockholm Central Station and the Stockholm Arlanda Airport.
The GIS laboratories in the Geo-Science Building (house U) are intended for teaching. The equipment can be used in conjunction with paper work related to geographic information processing.
Copiers and scanners are available on campus including at the Frescati Library.
