Konrad Burchardi befordrad till professor vid IIES

Konrad är en utvecklingsekonom med en doktorsexamen från London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Konrad har flertalet sk topp 5-publikationer bakom sig samt blev han tilldelad det prestigefyllda anslaget ERC Consolidator Grant hösten 2023.

Hans forskning undersöker processen för ekonomisk tillväxt och betydelsen av social struktur för internationell ekonomisk utveckling. För närvarande arbetar han med projekt som syftar till att förstå, både teoretiskt och empiriskt, källorna till resursfördelning och låg sammanlagd produktivitet i utvecklingsländer.
