Dr. Deqiang Zhao is a Post-doc at Stockholm University, Sweden. He received his Ph.D. at Chongqing University. He gained the Newton Fund: UK-China Joint Research and Innovation Partnership Fund: PhD Placement supporting to do research in Prof. Junwang Tang's Group in University College London, UK., Dr. Deqiang worked for two years as an assistant professor in Chongqing Jiaotong University, CN.

He won the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Chongqing University in 2020. Furthermore, he won the Doctoral Candidate National Scholarship authorized by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China in 2017.

He has published more than 45 publications. His research interests are about energy and environment. He is now working as a Postdoc in Prof. Niklas Hedin’s Group.
