Hi! My name is Emma Lundqvist, and I am a PhD student in the Galaxy group.

My work consists of using optical integral field unit data of Lyman continuum leaking starburst galaxies at redshifts of z~0.3. These galaxies act as local analogs to reionization era galaxies that likely contributed to the ionization of the intergalactic medium. The integral field unit data allows me to study the ionization structure and kinematics of the galaxies, revealing how the Lyman continuum radiation might be able to escape.
