Ingemar Lindahl är docent i medicinsk vetenskapsteori (Karolinska Institutet), Dr Med Sc (socialmedicin, KI, HS), FD (teoretisk filosofi, Stockholms Universitet).

Forskningsområden

Lindahls forskning har främst varit inriktad på problem vid orsaksförklaringar, särskilt problemet att tillskriva enskilda händelser en huvudorsak. Under senare år har forskningen även kommit att omfatta frågan om förhållandet mellan medvetna mentala skeenden och neurala processer.
