The Ballerina award 2022

This year the Ballerina award will be given to Nick Butler as teacher of the year and Anselm Schneider for the best adaptation of teaching.

The Ballerina award demonstrates the commitment of SBS teachers to the students as well as the students' appreciation for them.

Föreningen Ekonomerna has since 1993, via its Education Committee, handed out the Ballerina Award to the teacher who has best shown exceptional pedagogical ability during the previous year. It has since been adapted to additionally award the teacher who has contributed to the students' learning, through the best adaptation to the pandemic's impact on teaching.

The winners of the award are determined by SBS students through a survey voting round where the students can nominate their favorite teacher. We received an overwhelming amount of survey replies as well as many heart filled motivations as to why students selected the teachers they did.
