Two projects at the Department of Human Geography granted funding from the Swedish Research Council
The Swedish Research Council has recently granted research funding in several calls, with Stockholm University receiving six awarded grants. Two of these are directed toward research at the Department of Human Geography.
The first project, "Embedded lives: Contextual effects on life course trajectories," has been awarded 6,627,591 SEK and is led by Bo Malmberg, together with researchers Linn Axelsson, Juta Kawalerowicz, and Samaneh Khaef.
The second project, "Navigating the shifting scales of food preparedness: Societal and farmer resistance to crises," has received 6,698,000 SEK. This project is carried out by Anders Wästfelt and Vincenza Ferrara at the Department of Human Geography, in collaboration with Oscar Jacobsson from the University of Gothenburg and Qian Zhang from Södertörn University.
The awarding of funding to these projects marks an important step forward for research in Human geography and its significance for society.
