Housing application – tuition fee-paying students

Before you apply, make sure you meet the requirements. Master’s students with a scholarship from the Stockholm University Scholarship Scheme or the Swedish Institute are given priority.

Eligibility

To be eligible for student accommodation, you must

• be enrolled as a tuition fee-paying student at Stockholm University
• study full-time for at least one semester.

How to apply

Use the online application form to apply for accommodation.
Follow the instructions carefully until your application is completed and confirmed.

When filling in the form, you must select at least five accommodation preferences.
You cannot request a specific room, and preferences are not guaranteed, but they help the Housing Office match your needs.

You may also indicate other wishes, such as a room on or above the ground floor, under “Additional information” in the form.

Accommodation offer

If you are eligible and submit your application on time, the Housing Office will contact you by email to let you know whether you have received an offer.

Please note: The process may take up to two or three months, or longer, depending on cancellations and availability.

If you receive an offer, you will get your housing contract and full details about your accommodation and rent by email.

• Read the contract carefully before accepting.
• Respond within the stated deadline – only one offer is made.
• No second offers are sent, so check your email regularly.
